Your Information Stays With Us

Big Macks 3D collects only what it takes to make your models, deliver your order and keep the site running. We don’t sell your information, we don’t rent it, and we don’t share it with advertisers.

What we collect

When you order: your email address, so we can send your files and receipt, and for printed orders, your name and shipping address. We keep a record of what you ordered and the options you chose so you can download it again later.

When you pay: payments are handled by Square. Your card number goes straight to Square and never reaches our servers. We see only whether the payment went through.

When you write to us: whatever you put in the Contact or Suggestion Box form, including your email address if you give it. We use it to answer you and for nothing else.

When you browse: like most websites, our server logs each page visit, including your IP address, your browser type, the page you came from and the pages you view. We use these logs to see which pages people find useful and to keep the site working. We keep them for up to one year.

Cookies

Our own cookies remember:

  • the printer and colors you picked, so every model fits your printer without asking again
  • that you’re signed in, if you sign in to see your orders
  • a random visitor ID, so our page counts aren’t thrown off by repeat visits

We also use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It sets its own cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit and the kind of device you use. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We don’t use advertising cookies.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser. The site still works, but it will ask for your printer again.

Who else sees it

Only the services we need to run the store: Square for payment, the shipping carrier for printed orders, our email provider to send your receipts and files, and Google Analytics as described above. Each one gets only what its part of the job requires. We’ll also share information if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to us through the Contact page or at bigmacks3d@gmail.com. We may need to keep order records for tax purposes, but we’ll tell you if that applies.

Children

The site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date below.

Add your printer

We size every model to your printer, so we need to know how big it can print. It’ll be saved for the next person with the same machine.

These are the printable sizes — the biggest part your printer can actually make, the numbers your slicer shows as the build volume. Not the bed or the removable plate, which are usually a little bigger.

Optional — build plate and printer-stand measurements

The build plate is the removable sheet you pop prints off; it’s usually a little bigger than the printable area. A plate rack is cut to the sheet, not the bed.

A printer stand is built around your printer’s feet. Give us all four and we can build you one — or skip them and add them later. Measure the BASE — the slab it stands on — not the machine’s widest point. Gantry legs, Z columns and X arms usually overhang the base and hold up nothing.

Where to measure your printer's feet Looking down on the printer's base with the front at the bottom. A is the full width of the base across the front. B is the diameter of one foot. C is from the base's front edge back to the center of the front foot. D is from the base's side edge in to that same center. FRONT rear feet — not needed A D C B

My printers

Every model is sized to the printer doing the printing, and the logo and engraved sizes come as color inlays only where you can print them. The one at the top is the one new configurations start on — pick any row to make it that.

Adding one is the same picker: choose it in My Printer, or .

Choose your colors

Every model on the site opens in these three. Primary is the largest surface, secondary the part that contrasts with it, and tertiary the accent — feet, trim, the parts that tie it together.
