Terms of service

The Fine Print, in Plain English

These terms cover your use of bigmacks3d.com and anything you buy here. Big Macks 3D is run from Williamsburg, Virginia. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Orders and payment

Prices are in US dollars. The price you see at checkout, including shipping for printed orders, is the price you pay. Payment is taken by Square when you place your order. We may cancel an order and refund it in full if something goes wrong on our end, such as a pricing error or a model we can’t produce.

Every item is made to order, so all sales are final. See our Return Policy for how we handle problems, and our Shipping Policy for print times and delivery.

Your files

When you buy print-ready files, you get a license to print them for your own use. Print as many copies as you like, and keep or give away what you print.

The files themselves stay ours. Please don’t share, resell or post them, whether as they are or modified, and don’t sell prints made from them without asking us first.

Printing is up to you

We size every model to the printer you choose and test our designs on our own printers. Results still depend on your printer, settings and filament, so we can’t promise every print will come out perfectly. If a file won’t open or a part doesn’t fit, tell us and we’ll help.

Our models are made for everyday household use. They aren’t toys for small children, and they aren’t meant to hold food or drink unless the product page says so, or to bear loads beyond what the product page describes.

Our liability

We provide the site and our models as they are. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about an order is limited to what you paid for that order.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.

Add your printer

We size every model to your printer, so we need to know how big it can print. It’ll be saved for the next person with the same machine.

These are the printable sizes — the biggest part your printer can actually make, the numbers your slicer shows as the build volume. Not the bed or the removable plate, which are usually a little bigger.

Optional — build plate and printer-stand measurements

The build plate is the removable sheet you pop prints off; it’s usually a little bigger than the printable area. A plate rack is cut to the sheet, not the bed.

A printer stand is built around your printer’s feet. Give us all four and we can build you one — or skip them and add them later. Measure the BASE — the slab it stands on — not the machine’s widest point. Gantry legs, Z columns and X arms usually overhang the base and hold up nothing.

Where to measure your printer's feet Looking down on the printer's base with the front at the bottom. A is the full width of the base across the front. B is the diameter of one foot. C is from the base's front edge back to the center of the front foot. D is from the base's side edge in to that same center. FRONT rear feet — not needed A D C B

My printers

Every model is sized to the printer doing the printing, and the logo and engraved sizes come as color inlays only where you can print them. The one at the top is the one new configurations start on — pick any row to make it that.

Adding one is the same picker: choose it in My Printer, or .

Choose your colors

Every model on the site opens in these three. Primary is the largest surface, secondary the part that contrasts with it, and tertiary the accent — feet, trim, the parts that tie it together.
