Snap-together bars and corners that hold the outer bounds of a stained glass panel while you build it. Tell it the biggest panel you work on and it solves the kit — the bar ladder composes every size up to that, so one box lays out hundreds of different panels.

Configure & buy

A panel is only square if something holds it square. These are the forms that do it: flat bars that snap end to end, and 90° corners that lock them into a rectangle you can build against.

The corners add nothing to the opening. The corner square is exactly the width of a bar, so it sits entirely in the crossing zone where two sides meet — which means the opening is the sum of the bar lengths and nothing else. Lay out 200 + 100 and you get a 300 mm side. The number on the bars is the number you get.

You do not pick a piece list. You say the largest panel you want to lay out and the kit is solved from that — several of every length, because opposite sides of a rectangle need matching pieces and a bar without a twin can never go into a panel at all. A kit for 1000 mm panels builds 780 different rectangles in 25 mm steps.

Metric or imperial, and the two interchange: the joint, the 15 mm width and the 4.5 mm thickness are shared, so only the ladder and the engraved labels differ. Every bar carries its own length, engraved deep enough to take a second color.

Add the folding case and it is sized to the kit you just solved — packed the way you would pack it, bars on their side, and a hinge that prints already working.

Units

This sets the bar ladder and what is engraved on each piece — 50/75/100/125/150/200 mm, or 2/3/4/5/6/8 in. The two kits interchange: same joint, same 15 mm width, same 4.5 mm thickness, so pieces from either one snap together. Only the numbers differ.

Give it the biggest panel you work on. The kit is solved from that — several of every length, in matched pairs, because opposite sides of a rectangle need matching pieces. It builds every size up to this one, in 25 mm steps, not just the one you typed.

Case

Every kit comes with its folding case, and the case is solved from the kit rather than picked — the bars are packed on their side the way you would pack them, and the case is built around what that comes to. Its hinge prints in place and comes off the plate already working, and the lid carries the size of the set it holds.

The length engraved on each bar is a flush inlay, 0.8 mm deep with its own part — so on a multi-filament printer the numbers come out in the second color. On a single-extruder printer, print the bars and skip the inlays: the engraving still reads.

Add your printer

We size every model to your printer, so we need to know how big it can print. It’ll be saved for the next person with the same machine.

These are the printable sizes — the biggest part your printer can actually make, the numbers your slicer shows as the build volume. Not the bed or the removable plate, which are usually a little bigger.

Optional — build plate and printer-stand measurements

The build plate is the removable sheet you pop prints off; it’s usually a little bigger than the printable area. A plate rack is cut to the sheet, not the bed.

A printer stand is built around your printer’s feet. Give us all four and we can build you one — or skip them and add them later. Measure the BASE — the slab it stands on — not the machine’s widest point. Gantry legs, Z columns and X arms usually overhang the base and hold up nothing.

Every model on the site opens in these three. Primary is the largest surface, secondary the part that contrasts with it, and tertiary the accent — feet, trim, the parts that tie it together.
